Frequently asked questions
How does Julius handle security and compliance?
Julius ensures our customer data remains safe and secure. We’re SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and CCPA compliant. For more information on data privacy and security, see our privacy policy here.
Which data sources and warehouses does Julius integrate with?
We natively support integrations with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, along with other integrations as well. We also support connecting into Google Drive, OneDrive, and Sharepoint for teams.
How does authentication work with our existing SSO/SAML provider?
We provide authenticated linking via SSO and are able to integrate with existing SSO providers such as Okta, Azure, and others.
How can we manage our Julius subscription?
Once subscribed you can make adjustments to your subscription, updating your billing information, and more from your Subscription page. To learn more, check out our docs on Managing your Subscription.
How can my organization select between Business and Enterprise?
The Julius Business tier is meant for younger companies, smaller teams, or larger teams that are looking to self-serve test whether the features of Julius are a proper fit for their organization. Julius Enterprise is built for organizations that are looking to bring on multiple internal teams to Julius, or take advantage of additional security layers such as SSO, Audit logging, fine-grained additional RBAC, or other Enterprise features.
How does Julius query across my database if I have thousands of tables?
As you query your data warehouse, Julius builds a semantic layer of your schema to avoid having to tackle thousands of tables at a time, and only selecting for relevant information to your query. Additionally, users can set connections with manually filtered schemas, include their data dictionary, or create Custom Agents to refine their analytical process.
Can I give Julius my business context?
Yes, upload your data dictionary, train Custom Agents on your company schemas and tables, or include your DBT connection information.
I have a purchase order. How can I get an invoice?
We have built an invoicing tool for you to create an invoice for your purchasing department. Simply enter your billing information, number of seats you’d like to purchase, and it will create a payable invoice for you to share. Please reach out to team@julius.ai if this invoicing tool doesn’t fulfill your needs.
What other services can Julius integrate with in my workspace?
Julius allows for collaborative data analysis directly in your Slack via the Julius Slack Agent. Once you integrate with your Slack workspace, you can send reports, ask for ad-hoc analysis, or share data with your teammates, all within Slack.
